This one is quite interesting. Betty and him are both near the microphone. He wants to tell a joke about Betty and he doesn't want her around because she distracts him by chirping too loud while he's talking. He decides to orchestrate a recording session while trying to make arrangements so Betty doesn't bother him in the process. As a result he asks for Anthony to take care of Betty.
